First of all I would like to thank all those who helped me continue living here in St Albert. I was paying almost all my money I was making from my job to rent. It was the hardest part of my life. I had a vision to get my children into school that would give them opportunities in the future. But I really couldn’t do it as rent was taking everything from us. I was going to move back to the reserve because it was hard but my kids didn’t want to go back and I had left an abusive situation. So I found help through the St. Albert Housing Society.  They helped me find a home that would suit our needs. They gave us hope. We have managed to stay in this place we call home. I am forever grateful for everything they do for us and look forward to achieving the goal.
